From the authors' abstract: ``We determine the degree of approximation of functions belonging to \(\text{Lip}\,\alpha\) and \(W(L^r, \xi(t))\) classes by using Cesáro-Nörlund \((C^1\cdot N_p)\) summability without monotonicity condition on \(\{p_n\}\), which in turn generalizes the results of \textit{S. Lal} [Appl. Math. Comput. 209, No. 2, 346--350 (2009; Zbl 1159.42302)]. We also note some errors appearing in the paper of S. Lal [loc. cit.] and rectify them in the light of observations of \textit{B. E. Rhoades}, \textit{K. Ozkoklu} and \textit{I. Albayrak} [Appl. Math. Comput. 217, No. 16, 6868--6871 (2011; Zbl 1213.42007)].''
