The authors suggest and analyze three-step iterative methods for solving a class of strongly quasivariational inequalities. It is worth mentioning that all the results proved in this paper are special cases of more general results obtained by \textit{M. A. Noor} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 255, 589--604 (2001; Zbl 0986.49006)]. It is well-known that three-step iterative methods were first suggested and analysed by \textit{M. Aslam Noor} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 251, 217--229 (2000; Zbl 0964.49007)] for general variational inequalities, using the technique of updating the solution. No reference is given to the original work, which is the main drawback of this paper.
