    The authors investigate the solution to the stochastic PDE, \[ \partial_t{\mathcal E}(x,t)- (i/2m)\Delta{\mathcal E}(x,t)= \lambda|S(x,t)|^2{\mathcal E}(x,t), \] \(t\geq 0\), \(x\in \Lambda\subset \mathbb{R}^d\), and \({\mathcal E}(x, 0)= 1\). They consider the general case \(m\neq 0\) and \(\text{Im}(m)\geq 0\) for \(\Lambda\) a \(d\)-dimensional torus with \(d\leq 3\). They assume that \(S\) can be expressed as a finite combination of \(M\) complex Gaussian random variables \(s_n\), \(S= \sum_{n=1\sim M}s_n\Phi_n(x,t)\), with \(\langle s_n\rangle= \langle s_n s_m\rangle= 0\), \(\langle s_n s^*_m\rangle= \delta_{nm}\). \[ |\Lambda|^{-1} \sum_{n=1\sim M}\int_{[0,1]}\int_\Lambda|\Phi_n|^2= 1. \] They study the coupling \(\lambda_q(x,t)= \text{inf}\{\lambda> 0:\langle|{\mathcal E}(x,t)|^q\rangle=\infty\}\), and its counterpart \(\overline\lambda_q(x,t)= \text{inf}\{\lambda> 0: \langle\exp\{q\lambda\int_{[0, t]}|S|^2\,d\tau\}\rangle= \infty\}\) for the case \(m^{-1}= 0\). Let \(\mu_1[x(\cdot)]\geq \mu_2[x(\cdot)]\geq \cdots\geq 0\) be the eigenvalues of the covariance operator \(T_{x(\cdot)}\) defined by \[ (T_{x(\cdot)} f)(\tau)= \int_{[0,t]}\langle S^*(x(\tau), \tau)S(x(\tau'), \tau')\rangle f(\tau')\,d\tau', \] and let \(\mu_{x,t}= \sup_{x(\cdot)\in B(x,t)}\mu_1[x(\cdot)]\), \(B(x,t)\): the set of paths. Main result. For every \(t> 0\) and \(x\in\Lambda\), \(\lambda_q(x,t)= (q\mu_{x,t})^{-1}\leq \overline\lambda_q(x,t)\) hold. The solution is based on a distributional formulation of the Feynman path-integral and the Paley-Wiener theorem.
