Let \({\mathbb{A}}^ n\) be the affine space of dimension \(n\) over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. A variety \(F\subseteq {\mathbb{A}}^ n\) of dimension \(m\) is called ''m-flat'' if it is isomorphic to \({\mathbb{A}}^ m\). An automorphism \(\phi: {\mathbb{A}}^ n\to {\mathbb{A}}^ n\) which is the product of linear and triangular automorphisms is called ''tame''. The main result of this note is the following: for every m-flat \(F\subseteq {\mathbb{A}}^ n\) with \(m\leq (1/3)(n-1)\) there exists a tame automorphism \(\phi:{\mathbb{A}}^ n\to {\mathbb{A}}^ n\) such that \(\phi (F)=S\) is a linear subspace of \({\mathbb{A}}^ n\) (shortly, F is tamely- linearizable).
