EOQ with limited backorder delays (Q5903312)

This note extends the standard EOQ model to cover the situation when the firm is allowed, at no backorder cost, a certain delay time before the order must be filled. This situation is met in practice when the customer doesn't expect or insist on immediate receipt of an order from on-the- shelf inventory, but only a certain reasonable delay time is allowed.
