A non-decreasing sequence \(\omega(n)\) of real number with \(\omega (0)=1\) is called a Weyl factor for unconditional convergence of series with respect to a certain orthonormal system \(\phi_ 0,\phi_ 1,..\). if \(\sum^{\infty}_{n=1}a\) \(2_ n\omega (n)<\infty\) implies that \(\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}a_ n\phi_ n\) converges unconditionally a.e. on [0,1]. The author obtains a Franklin analogue of \textit{P. L. Ul'janov}'s characterization [Mat. Sb., N. Ser. 60(102), 39-62 (1963; Zbl 0135.275)] of Weyl factors for Haar series. Namely, \(\omega(n)\) is a Weyl factor for unconditional convergence of Franklin series if and only if \(\sum^{\infty}_{n=1}(n\omega (n))^{-1}<\infty.\)
