The author has made a niche for himself and deals also here with his preferred topic: differential materials. He introduces such acronyms as \({\mathfrak BMpv}\) (Bressan and Montanaro's point of view) and \({\mathfrak M ext}\) (Montanaro's extension), presumes the reader to ignore well-known, even fashionable, results of Coleman, and to be conversant with his own results even if unpublished yet. In the paper he introduces a non- classical theory \({\mathcal T}^*\) (entropy-free because entropy is not postulated to exist and where the Clausius-Duhem inequality is replaced by a dissipation inequality) and answers in the affirmative the following question: ``Is there a theory for these bodies, more general than the classical one, such that the existence of entropy and the existence of a response function for it are not postulated, but instead are a consequence of the aforementioned integrability condition, which a priori may not hold?''.
