The authors study the groups saturated with \(FC\)-subgroups such as groups with the minimal condition on non-\(FC\)-subgroups and groups with finitely many conjugacy classes of non-\(FC\)-subgroups. They prove that a locally graded group satisfying the minimal condition on non-\(FC\)-subgroups has an ascending normal series whose factors either are Abelian or direct products of finite simple non-Abelian groups. The fact that locally graded groups with finitely many conjugacy classes of non-\(FC\)-subgroups satisfy the minimal and the maximal condition on non-\(FC\)-subgroups allows giving the following characterization of locally graded groups with this property. Let \(G\) be a locally graded group. Then \(G\) has finitely many conjugacy classes of non-\(FC\)-subgroups iff it satisfies one of the following conditions: (a) \(G\) is an \(FC\)-group, (b) \(G\) is a Chernikov group whose finite residual \(J\) has no infinite proper \(\langle x\rangle\) invariant subgroups for every element \(x\) of \(G\setminus C_G(J)\), (c) \(G\) contains a perfect normal \(p\)-subgroup \(H\) which is minimal-non-\(FC\), the factor group \(G/H\) is finite and every subgroup of \(G\) which does not contain \(H\) is an \(FC\)-group. It is interesting to note, that in particular a locally graded group with finitely many conjugacy classes of non-\(FC\)-subgroups has only finitely many subgroups which are not \(FC\)-groups.
