In the paper under review, the authors study the homogenization of a non-stationary Stokes-Nerst-Planck-Poisson (SNPP) system in perforated domains. More precisely, the investigate the SNPP system posed in a porous medium \(\Omega^\epsilon \subset \mathbb{R}^d\), where \(\epsilon\) is the scale parameter relative to the pore size. The aim of the paper is to obtain corrector homogenization estimates in order to justify rigorously the homogenization limit for the upscaled limit derived by means of two-scale convergence. This is done by controlling in terms of suitable norms differences between the micro- and macro-concentration and between the corresponding micro- and macro-concentration gradients. Both Neumann and Dirichlet boundary conditions for the electrostatic potential are considered and these lead to different structures and upscaled systems.
