The second-order two-scale computation for integrated heat transfer problem with conduction, convection and radiation in periodic porous materials (Q2438883)

Using formal two-scale (homogenization) expansions, the authors derive a second-order two-scale computation scheme for the approximation of a semilinear heat conduction problem posed in a periodically perforated material. The order of convergence of the asymptotic scheme is illustrated numerically by means of a couple of concrete examples.
