The authors prove the following result related to the Oka-Grauert principle on Stein spaces: Let \(X\) be a Stein manifold and \(Z\) a locally trivial holomorphic fiber bundle on \(X\) whose fiber admits a spray. Then the inclusion map between the space of holomorphic and continuous sections of \(Z\) is a weak homotopy equivalence. Their technique allows to give a new proof of Gromov's theorem [\textit{M. Gromov}, J. Am. Math. Soc. 2, No. 4, 851-897 (1989; Zbl 0686.32012)] which had been used in the proof of embedding Stein spaces in Euclidean spaces of minimal dimension.
