Finite rank Toeplitz operators: Some extensions of D.\,Luecking's theorem (Q1017710)

\textit{D.\,H.\thinspace Luecking} [Proc.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 136, No.\,5, 1717--1723 (2008; Zbl 1152.47021)] proved that a Toeplitz operator \(T_\mu\) on the Bergman space of the unit disk, where \(\mu\) is a measure, has finite rank if and only if \(\mu\) is a finite linear combination of point masses. The present paper extends Luecking's theorem to the case of Toeplitz operators induced by distributions as well as Toeplitz operators on harmonic Bergman spaces.
