The authors study the following: In section 2, they give a short discussion of the (pluri-) fine topology of plurisubharmonic (psh) functions. In section 3, they consider the problem: if \(\psi\) is a bounded, fine continuous function with compact support, then \(\int \psi (dd^ cu_ j)^ n\to \int \psi (dd^ cu)^ n,\) where \(u_ j\) is a uniformly bounded sequence of psh functions which converges monotonically a.e. to a psh function u. In section 4, they discuss the definition of \((dd^ c)^ n.\) In section 5, they deal with the following problem. Let E be a subset of a bounded, strictly pseudoconvex domain \(\Omega\) in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), and define \(U^*_ E(z)=\lim_{\zeta \to z}\sup U_ E(\zeta),\) where \[ U_ E(z)=\sup \{v(z):\quad v psh,\quad v<0\quad on\quad \Omega,\quad v\leq -1\quad on\quad E\}. \] The authors had proved in their paper [Acta. Math. 149, 1-40 (1982; Zbl 0547.32012)] that the nonnegative Borel measure \(\lambda_ E=(dd^ cU^;_ E)^ n\) is supported on \(\bar E.\) The associated relative (or condenser) capacity is given by \(C(E,\Omega)=\int (dd^ cU^*_ E)^ n.\) The main result, Theorem 5.1, is that the capacities are the same if and only if \(\lambda_ E(E^ f-F^ f)=0,\) where \(E^ f\) denotes the fine closure of E. This then expresses the principle that, in terms of the equilibrium measure ``full measure implies full capacity''. In section 6, they obtain corresponding results for the generalized Green function in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), which is closely related to the study of polynomials in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\). They give a necessary and sufficient condition for a family of polynomials to satisfy the ``Leja polynomial condition''. In section 7, the authors study the problem of characterizing the support and the fine support of the measure \(\lambda_ E\) for a subset \(E\subset \Omega\).
