    The present paper completes previous work by the same authors [J. Stat. Phys. 116, No. 1--4, 381--410 (2004; Zbl 1134.82030)] proving that the asymptotic dynamics of a system of \(N\) particles interacting through a two-body interaction potential is well described in the weak-coupling limit by the Boltzmann equation with the quantum scattering cross section predicted by the Fermi Golden Rule. In the present paper the authors prove in particular that the terms neglected in the previous publication in order to have an asymptotic dynamics described by the Boltzmann equation do go to zero term-by-term in the weak-coupling limit, for a potential with zero mean. The result is obtained by a suitable analysis of the Feynman graphs appearing in the perturbation series obtained by using the Duhamel formula, computing the time evolution of the one-particle Wigner function for a dilute gas of Maxwell-Boltzmann particles.
