Inclusions of von Neumann algebras and quantum groupoids. II (Q1840774)

The structure of quantum grupoids constructed from depth 2 inclusions of von Neumann algebras is investigated [see the previous part I by the author and \textit{J.-M. Vallin}, J. Funct. Anal. 172, 249-300 (2000; Zbl 0974.46055)]. Using a pseudo-multiplicative unitary, the analog of an antipode is constructed. It it shown that this antipode admits a polar decomposition which can be used for constructing co-inverse and deformation one-parameter group of the structure. The complete description of quantum grupoid is obtained in terms of co-product, co-inverse and left and right Haar operator-valued weights.
