Let \(A_{n}^{\alpha}\) be defined by the generating function \((1-x)^{-\alpha-1}=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}A_{n}^{\alpha}x^n\), \(|x|<1\), \(\alpha>-1\). A sequence \((s_n)\) is \((C,\alpha)\) summable to \(s\) if \[ s_n^{\alpha}=\frac{1}{A_n^{\alpha}}\sum_{k=0}^n A_{n-k}^{\alpha -1}s_k \] is convergent to \(s\) as \(n\to \infty\). A sequence \((s_n)\) is \((A)(C,\alpha)\) summable to \(s\) if \(\sum _{n=0}^{\infty} (s_n^{\alpha}-s_{n-1}^{\alpha})x^{n}\) is convergent for \(0\leq x <1\) and tends to \(s\) as \(x\to 1^{-}\). It is well known that for \(\beta>\alpha >-1\), \[ (C,\alpha)\subset (C,\beta)\subset (A)\subset (A)(C,\alpha), \] and \((A)(C,0)\) summability is Abel summability. Some Tauberian theorems are given for the \((A)(C,\alpha)\) summability method by \textit{T. Pati} [in: D. Rath (ed.) et al., Sequences, summability and Fourier analysis. New Delhi: Narosa Publishing House. 84--96 (2005)] and by \textit{Y. Erdem} and \textit{I. Çanak} [Comput. Math. Appl. 60, No. 11, 2920--2925 (2010; Zbl 1207.40003)]. In the paper, the authors establish several new Tauberian theorems for the \((A)(C,\alpha)\) summability method. The results extend some of the classical Tauberian theorems for the Abel summability method.
