This paper investigate the transfer of semi-Goldie, finitely cogenerated and mininjective properties in trivial ring extensions (also called idealizations) of commutative rings by modules. A ring is called semi-Goldie if it have a finite Goldie dimension. The author give a complete characterization to trivial ring extension to be semi-Goldie and finitely cogenerated, respectively. In particular, the author prove that if \(M\) is a finitely generated \(R\)-module, then the trivial ring extension \(A :=R \propto M\) has a finite Goldie dimension (resp., finitely cogenerated) if and only if so are \(R\) and \(M\). Recall that a ring \(R\) is called mininjective if for every simple ideal \(S\) of \(R\), any R-homomorphism \(S \rightarrow R\) can be extend to \(R\). A ring is quasi-Frobenius if and only if it is mininjective Artinian. The author give a complete characterization to trivial ring extension to be mininjective and so to be quasi-Frobenius. As application, the author show that every Noetherian ring can be embeds in a quasi-Frobenius ring.
