The authors give a new proof of global existence of the unique solution to the initial-boundary value problem for the system of quasilinear wave equations in an exterior domain. Moreover, the obtained weighted \(L^{\infty } - L^{\infty }\) estimates allow them to prove decay estimates of energy.
