Let \(K\) denote a field. A non-negatively graded \(K\)-algebra \(A = \bigoplus_{i \in \mathbb{N}} A_i\) with \(A_0 = K\) is called a Koszul algebra whenever \(K = A/A_{+}\) has a minimal linear free resolution as an \(A\)-module. Let \(V \subset \mathbb{P}^9\) denote the Veronese cubic surface. The authors classify those projections of \(V\) to \(\mathbb{P}^8\) that are Koszul algebras. Note that the so-called pinched Veronese with coordinate ring \(K[(x_0,x_1,x_2)^3/ x_0x_1x_2]\) became a benchmark for testing new techniques on infinite resolutions. Its Koszulness was proved by the first author (see [J. Algebr. Comb. 30, No. 4, 539--548 (2009; Zbl 1213.13003)]) by filtrations, deformations and computer assisted computations. Here the authors obtain a complete theoretical proof and a general classification. The new ingredients of their proofs are generalizations, to complete intersections, of techniques by the second author, \textit{J. Herzog, N. V. Trung} and \textit{G. Valla} [Am. J. Math. 119, No. 4, 859--901 (1997; Zbl 0920.13003)].
