The author considers the inequality \[ \sum_{1\leq| \alpha|=|\beta|\leq m}\int_ \omega a_{\alpha\beta}(x)D^ \alpha u(x)D^ \beta(v-u)(x)dx+\int_ \omega g(x,u(x))(v-u)(x)dx\geq0 \tag{1} \] in the space \(K=\{v\in\dot W^ m_ 2(\omega)\), \(v\geq0\) almost everywhere\}, where \(\omega\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), with a smooth piecewise boundary \(S\). The real functions \(a_{\alpha\beta}\) of class \(C^ 1\) on \(\overline\omega\) satisfy the conditions: \[ \begin{gathered} a_{\alpha\beta}(x)=a_{\beta\alpha}(x),\;\forall x\in \omega, 1\leq |\alpha|= |\beta|\leq m, \\\sum_{|\alpha|=|\beta|=m} a_{\alpha\beta}(x)\cdot \xi^{\alpha+\beta}\geq \chi|\xi|^{2m}, \forall x\in\overline\omega, \forall\xi\in\mathbb{R}^ n, \end{gathered}\tag{2} \] in which \(\chi>0\) does not depend of \(\xi\) and \(x\). The function \(g:\omega\times[0,\infty)\to\mathbb{R}\) has a measurability property and for every \(d>0\) there exists a function \(a_ d\in L^ q(\omega)\;(q>1)\) so that \(| g(x,u)|\leq a_ d(x)\), \(\forall u\in[0,d]\) and almost everywhere \(x\in\omega\). A solution \(u\) for the inequality (1) is semiregular if for almost every \(x\in\omega\), \(u(x)\) is a continuity point of the function \(g(x,\;)\). The principal result of this paper is that the inequality (2) has, under certain conditions, a semiregular solution.
