The Benjamin-Ono equation \[ u_ t+2uu_ x+P.V.{1\over \pi}\int^ \infty_{-\infty}{u_{yy}(y)\over y-x}dy=0, \] which appears in a number of problems of mathematical physics is a non-local analogue of the Korteweg-de Vries equation. In particular it describes the propagation of wave packets in a boundary layer. One of the main goals is to obtain a large class of quasiperiodic solutions by using the ideas and the methods of the theory of finite-zone integration.
