The authors prove very interesting general theorems on global attractors for a certain class of nonstationary PDEs. It is shown for solutions lying on the global attractor that the value of a solution at a finite number of nodes determines elements of the attractor uniquely. The theorem applies to the 2D Navier-Stokes equations with periodic boundary conditions and a Gevrey regular forcing function, to the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation on a periodic 1D or 2D domain, to the reaction-diffusion equations with analytic nonlinearity on periodic domains in \(\mathbb R^n\).
