Mostly contracting diffeomorphisms are the simplest examples of robustly nonuniformly hyperbolic systems. The paper studies the mixing properties of mostly contracting diffeomorphisms of a three-dimensional manifold. In particular, sufficient conditions for statistical stability are provided. Conditions for some other statistical properties are also given, e.g. for existence of a global attractor and non-zero Lyapunov exponents, etc.
