For positive integers \(m<n\) define the polynomials \[ Q_{mn}(z) := \int_z^1 u^m(1-u)^{n-m-1}\,du \] (these polynomials are much related to the \(m\)-degree truncations \(P_{mn}\) of the polynomials \((1+z)^n\)). Let \(\mathcal Z\) be the set of all accumulation points of \[ \bigcup_{mn} \{z\in{\mathbb C}:z\not=1,Q_{mn}(z)=0\}. \] For \(\alpha\in(0,1)\), denote by \(C_\alpha\) the left loop of the two-loop curve \[ \{z\in{\mathbb C}:| z| | 1-z| ^{1/\alpha-1}=b_\alpha\} \] where \[ b_\alpha := \max_{x\in[0,1]} x(1-x)^{1/(\alpha-1)}. \] The main result of the paper is that the set \(\mathcal Z\) coincides with the curve \(C_\alpha\), and the author also proves details on the density of the zeros of the polynomials \(Q_{mn}\). This technical result implies a solution to a problem by A. Eremenko, about describing the asymptotic zero distribution of the polynomials \(P_{mn}\) when \(m,n\to\infty\) in such a way that \(m/n\to\alpha\in(0,1)\).
