The authors prove a matrix-valued \(H^p\)-corona theorem in the polydisk, thus generalizing results of \textit{K. C. Lin} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 341, 371--375 (1994; Zbl 0798.32005)] for the scalar valued case. The main theorem reads as follows: Let \(E\) and \(E^*\) be two Hilbert spaces, with \(r=\dim E^*<\infty\) and \({\mathcal B}\) the space of all bounded linear operators between \(E\) and \(E^*\). If \(F\in H^\infty({\mathbb D}^n, {\mathcal B})\) such that \(\delta^2I\leq F\,F^*\leq I\) for some \(\delta^2\leq 1/e\), then, for \(g\in H^p({\mathbb D}^n,E^*)\), the equation \(Ff=g\) has an analytic solution \(f\in H^p({\mathbb D}^n, E)\) with an estimate \(\| f\| _p\leq C(n,\delta,r,p)\| g\| _p\). For the proof, the authors use tools from complex differential geometry to solve \(\overline\partial\)-equations on holomorphic vector bundles.
