A k-arc in a projective plane is a set of k points no three of which are collinear. A k-arc is complete if it is not contained in a \((k+1)\)-arc. Th author presents partitions of Desarguesian projective planes \(PG(2,q^ 2)\) and of Hughes planes into a number of \(q^ 2+q+1\) equicardinal arcs. This paper is connected with the author's previous paper [Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 104, No.3, 435-440 (1988; Zbl 0657.51005)].
