    The paper is concerned with the design problem of an output dynamic feedback controller for linear delay differential systems of the neutral type. The problem of stabilization of this class of systems is of the main concern. A dynamic output feedback controller is designed which guarantees the asymptotic stability of the systems. A stabilization criterion in terms of matrix inequalities is derived and solved by convex optimization algorithms. A numerical example is also presented to illustrate the design procedure.
