On the convergence of solutions of degenerate nonlinear elliptic high order equations (Q5960813)

The authors study a sequence of equations \({\mathcal A}^{(S)}u_s=g\), where \({\mathcal A}^{(s)}\) is a degenerate nonlinear high order elliptic operator with Dirichlet type boundary conditions. Under appropriate assumptions it is shown that there exists an operator \(\mathcal A\) of the same kind such that, along a subsequence, \(u_s\) converge weakly to a solution of \({\mathcal A}u=g\).
