A class of cellular neural networks with variable and distributed delays is studied. Sufficient conditions for global exponential periodicity, existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of such networks are proved by means of a Lyapunov functional, Halanay's inequality and mathematical induction. The authors don't assume differentiability, boundedness and monotonicity of the activation function in the proofs. Several examples are provided.
