Let \(G\) be an algebraic group, \(Y\) a \(G\)-scheme. \textit{P. N. Achar} [Int. Math. Res. Not. No. 20, 3843--3900 (2009; Zbl 1185.14014)] introduced a family of \(t\)-structures on the bounded derived category \(D^b_G(Y)\) of \(G\)-equivariant coherent sheaves on \(Y\), called staggered \(t\)-structures, generalizing the construction from [\textit{R. Bezrukavnikov}, Perverse coherent sheaves (after Deligne), preprint, \url{arXiv:math.0005152}]. The aim of this paper is to give an explicit parametrization of staggered \(t\)-structures in the case of toric varieties. Let \(T\) be a torus and \(Y\) a \(T\)-toric variety with associated fan \(\Sigma\). Then the author proves that the staggered \(t\)-structures on \(Y\) are given by a choice of a perversity function and an \(s\)-structure, that is a collection of elements \(A_C\) of \(-C\) for each cone \(C\) in \(\Sigma\) such that if \(A_C = 0\), then \(A_{C'}=0\) for all faces \(C'\) of \(C\). Moreover, chosen an \(s\)-structure on \(\Sigma\), the authors shows that the existence of a perversity function and a dualizing complex making the corresponding staggered \(t\)-structure self-dual is equivalent to the existence of a piecewise linear function \(\chi\) on \(\Sigma\) such that \(\chi(-A_C) - \chi(-A_{C'}) + 1 \geq 0\) whenever \(C'\) is a codimension one face of \(C\).
