A right non-singular ring \(R\) is called a right Utumi ring if every right ideal \(I\) of \(R\) with \(R/I\) non-singular is a right annihilator. The paper shows that the class of right Utumi p.p. rings arises naturally when considering divisible modules. The author discusses in the non-commutative case relationships between various notions of divisibility given for modules over integral domains.
