During the Nazi period, several mathematicians fled from Germany into Denmark. Dehn stayed for a few months, Feller for a year, and Neugebauer for over five years. Others ended up settling in as Danish citizens. This article profiles several of the refugees, examining the impact of their time in Denmark on them and on the Danish mathematical scene. The author also discusses people, such as Harald Bohr, and institutions that facilitated the emigrations to Denmark.
