The author studies second-order differential operators in an \(L^p\)-framework defined on manifolds with singularities. The particular class of manifolds considered in this note is called singular manifolds. The concept of singular manifolds was first introduced by H. Amann. The approach in this article is based on the traditional strategy of associating differential operators with densely defined, closed and sectorial forms. The theory here proved is of importance for the study of elliptic and parabolic equations on non-compact, or even incomplete manifolds, with or without boundary.
