This work reinvestigates the renormalization problem of Feynman amplitudes in quantum field theory from the point of view of the position space, curved or not curved. Actually, this has been a standard problem since many years and has been essentially solved by the work of \textit{R. Brunetti} and \textit{K. Fredenhagen} [Commun. Math. Phys. 208, No. 3, 623--661 (2000; Zbl 1040.81067)]. If one extends the formulation of QFT to curved space-times, one learns that both Wightman axioms as well as Feynman amplitudes, which use the momentum space, are no longer applicable. There is no longer any kind of Lorentz invariance nor can one perform a normal Fourier transformation. In this paper, the author uses microlocal conditions via a geometric notion of scaling which allows controlling the wave front and an extension of distributions on the manifold. The enormous amount of references (55) shows the importance of the subject in the past.
