A topological group \(G\) is called pro-connected nilpotent Lie group if it is complete and if every identity neighborhood of \(G\) contains a normal subgroup \(N\) such that \(G/N\) is a connected nilpotent Lie group. In the paper under review, the authors establish a bijective correspondence between the equivalence classes of unitary irreducible representations and the set of all integral coadjoint orbits of pro-connected nilpotent Lie groups which satisfy suitable amenability conditions (Theorem 4.6).
