This paper studies measuring trust in social networks based upon linear uncertainty theory. The uncertainty theory is used to investigate the trust relationship between nodes and a new trust measure model is constructed. Trust is assumed to be transitive, reliable and measurable. It is a distribution and has a threshold. Two weighted trust aggregation operators have been investigated under multi-path scenarios. In addition, the hybrid weighted operator of path length and trust quality is introduced to measure the belief of the established trust chain as well as the network. The trust threshold constraint has been developed to calculate the range of incomplete data, and the belief degree of the social network trust chain is also generated. A case study is worked out in detail.
