Special polynomials and numbers possess much importance in multifarious areas of sciences such as physics, mathematics, applied sciences, engineering and other related research fields covering differential equations, number theory, functional analysis, quantum mechanics, mathematical analysis, mathematical physics and so on. For example; Bernoulli polynomials and numbers are closely related to the Riemann zeta function, which possesses a connection with the distribution of prime numbers. Some of the most significant polynomials in the theory of special polynomials are the Bell, Euler, Bernoulli, Hermite, and Genocchi polynomials. Recently, the aforesaid polynomials and their diverse generalizations have been densely considered and investigated by many physicists and mathematicians. While, Hermite-based special polynomials have been considered and investigated by many researchers in many years, \textit{U. Duran} et al. [``Bell-based Bernoulli polynomials with applications'', Axioms 10, No. 1, Paper No. 29, 23 p. (2021; \url{doi:10.3390/axioms10010029})] introduced Bell-based Stirling polynomials of the second kind and Bell-based Bernoulli polynomials. Also, they derived several properties and formulas arising from umbral calculus and series manipulation method. Inspired this paper, a lot of scientists work on this topic and now there are many published paper cited the mentioned paper. In the paper under review, the authors introduced partially degenerate Bell-Bernoulli polynomials of the first kind and investigated their properties and identities. Moreover, they considered a generalized form of partially degenerate Bell-Bernoulli polynomials of the first kind and derived some interesting properties and identities.
