A generalization of Korovkin's theorem on the space \(C^{k}[0,1]\), the space of the \(k\)-times continuously differentiable functions on \([0,1]\), is given for the power series method. The authors give an example which shows that this theorem is more useful than the classical one. Also, the rate of convergence is obtained via the modulus of continuity.
