The Clifford algebra \(\mathcal{G}_{p,q,r}\) (called ``geometric algebra'' in the paper) is the associative algebra generated over \(\mathbb{R}\) by \(p+q+r\) elements that anticommute in pairs, such that \(p\) generators have square equal to 1, \(q\) have square equal to \(-1\), and the rest to \(0\). These algebras are ``degenerate'' when \(r>0\), as the Clifford algebras of degenerate quadratic forms. The paper investigates several different Lie groups related to these algebras, that may be of use to other areas of mathematics and other sciences.
