The author proves that the maximal operator of the \((C,\alpha,\beta)\) means of the double Walsh-Fourier series of functions is bounded from the two-parameter dyadic martingale Hardy spaces \(H_p\) to \(L_p\), provided that \(\alpha,\beta> 0\) and \(1/(\min(\alpha, \beta)+ 1)< p<\infty\); and this maximal operator is of weak type \((H^{\#}_1, L_1)\), where the Hardy space \(H^{\#}_1\) is defined by means of the hybrid maximal function. The a.e. convergence of the \((C,\alpha,\beta)\) means of a function \(f\) in \(H^{\#}_1\) follows in a routine way. The convergence of the \((C,\alpha,\beta)\) means in the norm of \(H_p\) is also proved. Analogous results are proved for the conjugate \((C,\alpha,\beta)\) means, as well.
