A multi-species version of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model was introduced in [\textit{A. Barra} et al., Ann. Henri Poincaré 16, No. 3, 691--708 (2015; Zbl 1327.82089)]. Using the Guerra-Toninelli interpolation, those authors proved that the free energy has a limit which is upper bounded by the infimum of an analogue of the Parisi formula. The main result in the present paper is the proof of the sharpness of the bound. Here, a new difficulty concerns the joint distribution of the overlap arrays for the various species. To obtain the lower bound, a multi-species version of the Ghirlanda-Guerra identities is first proved. Then, the overlaps of different species are synchronized and the conclusion follows using the Aizenman-Sims-Starr scheme.
