This article discusses the nonexistence of solutions \(u\geq 0\) to the quasilinear parabolic inequality \(u_t-L_A u\geq a(x) (K\ast u^r)u^q\) in \(\mathbb{R}^N\times (0,\infty)\) subject to initial condition \(u(x,0)=u_0(x)\in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{R}^N)\). The differential operator \(L_Au=\operatorname{div}(A(x,u,\nabla u))\) is weakly corercive, which includes as particular cases, the \(p\)-Laplace and the mean curvature operator. The potential function \(K(x)\) is assumed to be positive and to satisfy \(K(x)\geq c|x|^{-\beta}\) for \(|x|>1\) large. The goal of the authors is to derive sufficient conditions for which the above inequality does not admit weak solutions \(u\geq 0\). The main results establish various thresholds (Fujita exponents) which yield such nonexistence of solutions. The approach relies on various capacitary and integral estimates.
