For part I and the considered problem see the preceding review.] - In this part II the authors introduce new concepts of ''general position'' for n points and give evaluations for \(\delta\). A sample result is the following: let \(n=\left( \begin{matrix} d+2\\ 2\end{matrix} \right)+h,\) \(0\leq h\leq d+1\) and let \(W_ 1\supseteq ({\mathbb{P}}^ 2)^ n\) be the set of n-tuples of points of \({\mathbb{P}}^ 2\) in weak n-generic position (as defined in the paper): then \(\delta\) in this case is \(d+1+h\). The paper also contains a discussion of various relations between the concepts of ''general position''.
