A classification of homogeneous operators in the Cowen-Douglas class (Q5894208)

An explicit construction of all homogeneous holomorphic Hermitian vector bundles over the unit disk \(D\) is given. It is shown that every such bundle is a direct sum of irreducible ones. Among these irreducible bundles, the ones corresponding to operators in the Cowen-Douglas class \(B_n(D)\) are identified. As a consequence, the paper gives a classification of homogeneous operators in \(B_n(D)\) using an explicit realization of these operators and shows how the homogeneous operators in \(B_n(D)\) split into similarity classes.
