Multipliers of de Branges spaces (Q803329)

De Branges spaces K(b), depending on a fixed function b in the unit ball of \(H^{\infty}\), are subspaces of \(H^ 2\) and have been studied in various contexts. The paper under review gives contributions to the structure of multipliers in K(b), these are \(H^{\infty}\)-functions which multiply K(b) into itself. For example, the authors show that m is a multiplier of every K(b) space, when b is not an extreme point of the ball of \(H^{\infty}\), if and only if there is some constant \(c>0\) such that the Fourier coefficients fulfill \(\hat m(n)=O[\exp (-c\sqrt{n})]\). The paper ends with several open questions.
