On conditions for regularity of solutions for a piecewise linear system (Q854135)

The authors investigate the rich kinds of solutions of the switched differential equation that can occur in a controlled switched system. They prove that the model is dissipative. In addition, the authors prove symmetry, discuss some parameter values and study the repulsion sliding mode phenomenon. Discontinuity curves according to Filippov curves are studied and the proof of dissipativity, existence and uniqueness of limit cycles in some cases are given. Illustration for limit cycles in the regular cases and examples of chattering phenomena are presented.
