The Kraichnan model is defined by the stochastic partial differential equation: \(\partial_t\theta + {\mathbf v}\cdot\partial_{\mathbf x}\theta - \frac{\kappa}{2}\partial^2\theta = f, \; \) where \(f\) and \(\mathbf v\) are Gaussian fields of zero averages and covariances \[ \langle f({\mathbf x_1}, t_1)f({\mathbf x_2}, t_2)\rangle = \delta(t_2-t_1)F({\mathbf x_1}-{\mathbf x_2}/L_F), \] \[ \langle v^{\alpha}({\mathbf x_1}, t_1)v^{\beta}({\mathbf x_2}, t_2)\rangle = \delta(t_2-t_1)D^{\alpha,\beta}({\mathbf x_1}-{\mathbf x_2};m,M), \] respectively. The parameter \(\xi\) describes smoothness of \(D^{\alpha,\beta}({\mathbf x_1}-{\mathbf x_2};m,M)\). The paper develops a perturbative analysis of the scaling exponents of \( \langle | \theta({\mathbf x}) -\theta({\mathbf 0})| ^{2n}\rangle \) in a series of powers of \(\xi\). The Mellin transform of Feynman diagrams generated by the Martin-Siggia-Rose formalism is used to study zero mode contribution. The relation between standard and renormalization group improved perturbation theory is also investigated.
