New examples of threefolds with \(c_ 1=0.\) (With appendix by B. van Geemen) (Q908986)

This paper contains examples of threefolds with trivial canonical bundle and Euler number of small absolute value, but different from zero, respectively big Euler number. These threefolds are constructed as big, respectively small resolutions of special varieties with isolated singularities. For all examples the question is answered whether there exists a projective algebraic resolution or not. In the appendix the Hodge numbers of four of the examples are computed.
