Summary: We consider the recently introduced notion of \(\mathcal{I}\)-statistical convergence [the first author et al., Appl. Math. Lett. 24, No. 9, 1509--1514 (2011; Zbl 1223.40004); \textit{E. Savas} and the first author, ibid. 24, No. 6, 826--830 (2011; Zbl 1220.40004)] in probabilistic normed spaces and in the following [\textit{C. Şençimen} and \textit{S. Pehlivan}, Stochastic Anal. Appl. 26, No. 3, 651--664 (2008; Zbl 1147.54015); Appl. Anal. 87, No. 3, 377--384 (2008; Zbl 1143.54012)], we introduce the notions like strong \(\mathcal{I}\)-statistical cluster points and extremal limit points, and strong \(\mathcal{I}\)-statistical continuity and strong \(\mathcal{I}\)-statistical \(D\)-boundedness in probabilistic normed spaces and study some of their important properties.
