If \(A,B\subset \mathbb{R}\), \(B\) is said to represent \(A\) if for any \(a\in A\), there is a \(C\subset B\) with \(a= \sum_{c\in C}c\). The paper under review studies the case where \(A\) is a geometric progression of integers . A conjecture of \textit{D. P. Moulton} [J. Number Theory 89, 193-211 (2001; Zbl 0997.11021)] is proved.
